Features: The Gam SS-2 VHF Antenna is GAM's most popular of the Mini Series It can be tuned for Marine Channel 16, AIS, or any frequency within the 147-174 MHz Spectrum * Total Length of this Antenna Whip is 40" (An MHz Cut Chart is Included in the Package) The Antenna should be trimmed to length to establish the desired Frequency A Marine VHF antenna is center tuned to 156.8MHz (Whip needs to be cut to 35 An AIS antenna is center tuned to 162.0 MHz (Whip needs to be cut to 33.5) Hand-wound loading coil is factory tuned and tested to insure peak performance at a specified frequency Stainless steel coil housing Coil is hermetically sealed to prevent moisture damage No ground plane required.
